Are you ready for Natasha’s Law?

From October, food businesses will be required to provide full ingredient lists and allergen labelling on all packaged food. The UK Food Labelling Resource, a non-profit information group formed by Nutritics, are holding a free webinar on 26th January, to help businesses prepare for the change and answer any questions you might have.

The UK Food Labelling Resource is a provider of allergen and food labelling software. This group represents stakeholders from across food industry, research, labelling and government and was established to support the effective roll-out of new food labelling legislation in the UK. Natasha’s Law is set to come into effect in October 2021, having been officially introduced by Michael Gove in June 2019.

The goal of the UK Food Labelling Resource is to help UK food businesses of all sizes to prepare and adapt to the changes brought about by the UK Food Information Amendment 2019 (Natasha’s Law). We want to share our expertise in one place, making it easier and more efficient for businesses to prepare for this legislation by October 2021. The UK Food Labelling Resource aids businesses by first raising awareness of the law and then providing businesses with access to all the latest resources.

The webinar on 26th January is free and live, and invites experts from across multiple strands together to share the most useful and practical advice for preparing your business for Natasha’s Law.  A Q&A and sharing best practice guides for attendees will also take place. The webinar will feature panels from Stephen Nolan, COO at Nutritics, Allergen & Food Labelling Software, who lead the establishment of the UK Food Labelling Resource; Haleh Moravej, Senior Lecturer in Nutritional Sciences – MetMUnch Founder & Nutrition Entrepreneur at MMU; and Dr Sian Astley, Author, Editor and Senior Researcher at EuroFIR – European Food Information Resource Network.
