Marcia's Market Kitchen & Farm Shop sources the best local produce available to buy from the shop or eat in the café. Open from Wednesday until Sunday every week, they offer a breakfast and lunch menu at reasonable prices using fresh, local ingredients. Guests are welcome to enjoy a home cooked meal in the café or to take away to enjoy later or just to browse the shop and pick up some locally sourced produce. The farm is also home to the Shack, a fully licenced bar which is open at the weekends in addition to the usual café opening times. The Shack offers a range of local beers, wines and spirits which are also available from the shop.
The shop has a full range of produce which comes from farms, farmers’ markets and producers across Dorset including fresh milk and dairy, vegetables and salads, fresh meat, fish, free range eggs, freshly baked bread and other bakery items, preserves and condiments. Producers range from small local producers to nationally recognised names such as Purbeck Ice cream and the Watercress Company.
The Kitchen and Farm Shop are ideally located just off the A350 at Spetisbury at Clapcotts Farm, near Blandford Forum. The farm has plenty of parking and is on a local bus route with stops just outside the farm. There are access points for a range of local walks from Clapcotts Farm, so it is the perfect place to park up, explore and then stop for refreshments in the café.
