Lobsters the highlight of this weekend’s Seafood Festival

As National Lobster Day will take place on 25th September it makes perfect sense for the organisers of the Dorset Seafood Festival to put lobsters front and centre at this year’s event.

The festival will be working with BLUE, a global marine conservation charity that works to promote marine protected areas and sustainable fishing. A series of speakers, videos and q&a sessions will take place with people from BLUE during the event, which was cancelled last year due to the pandemic.

Dorset Seafood Festival has a real focus on education and helping people understand the coast and how important sustainable fishing is on the environment. By working with BLUE and other marine conservations, the organisers hope that festival guests will get a better idea of how to enjoy seafood while still looking after the coast. All while indulging in amazing food and live music.

Entry to this year’s festival is by ticket only, book your tickets and find out more at dorsetseafood.co.uk
