The ever popular Spring Tide Food Festival is celebrating its 10th year, with its event taking place next weekend.
Taste buds will be teased on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th May from 10am to 4pm, at Hive Beach, Burton Bradstock, as the event takes place on the spectacular Jurassic coast, where event goers will find a celebration of local food, drink and crafts.
The Spring Tide Food Festival returns for its 10th mouth-watering year, and will be a “foodie” heaven, featuring many local producers showcasing their produce.
As usual there will be an array of wonderful stall holders in the food marquee offering a large variety of produce including specialty meats, artisan bread and cheeses, handmade confectionery, mouth-watering cakes, and locally produced wine, cider and beer.
In the festival field there will be an eclectic mix of freshly cooked street food and crafts, along with live family friendly music to make the weekend ‘sing’.
Sarah Kennedy, Senior Visitor Experience Officer for the National Trust’s North and West Dorset team and the Spring Tide Event Manager, says; “We’re looking forward to welcoming lots of people, so make sure you get the date in your diary. It really is a great day out for family and foodies with a chance to experience good local food, drink, craft and entertainment in a beautiful setting.”
Open from 10am to 4pm, entry is £2 (under 12s go free), all proceeds go towards the National Trust’s ongoing vital conservation work in Dorset. Parking is free for National Trust members or there is pay and display for non-members.
