While many of this year’s events have been cancelled or postponed, the 2020 VisitEngland Awards for Excellence went ahead as planned in an online ceremony on 17th August. Winners were selected from hundreds of tourism businesses across England including accommodation providers, restaurants, attractions, pubs and conference venues. The shortlisted businesses then tuned into the event which was streamed live to find out where they placed.
Dorset’s Three Horseshoes Pub and Kitchen picked up Silver in the Pub of the Year category. The pub in Burton Bradstock regularly picks up awards and in recent years has won Taste of the West and Dorset Tourism Awards.
