Terms and Conditions

The competition will go live on 1st August 2021 and will end midnight 16th August 2021. 

Details of how to enter are below. 

• Only one entry will be accepted per person
• Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified
• Closing date for entry is 16th August, after this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted. 
• No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason. 

The rules of the competition are as follows:

• If any error, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the promoter and which prevents the promote from complying with these terms and conditions, the promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing their obligation.

The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition. 

The prize is as follows.

A copy of Mitch Tonk’s Rockfish cookbook. 

The prize will be sent out to the selected winner after communication to confirm they are the winner of the competition. No alternative prize will be offered. The prize is nontransferable and can not be exchanged for a cash alternative. 

General terms. 

A winner will be randomly selected from the submitted information on the Dorset Food and Drink website after the closing date stated above. Entries submitted on any social media pages or posts will not be considered. 

Multiple entries from one person will not be considered and will count as one entry. No third party or automated entries will be counted. 

This competition is for UK residents only

Employees and volunteers of Dorset Food and Drink are not permitted to enter. 

It is the responsibility. of each individual entrant to ensure that they have read and obeyed the competition rules and T&Cs. Any entry found not to comply with the competition rules will not be considered. 

The decision of the promoter is final and no discussion will be entered into. 

By entering you agree that your name may be published on the official Dorset Food and Drink social media pages to announce that you are the winner. You also agree that your details will be used by Dorset Food and Drink for communications. 

Dorset Food and Drink have the right to amend, extend or fully terminate this competition at any time without incurring liability.

Simply visit the Dorset Food and Drink Facebook page and follow the link to the competition page on their website, fill in the form to be in with a chance of winning. 

The winner will be notified within a week of the competition ending. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. The promoter’s decision in respect to all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. 

By entering this competition, the entrant is indicating his/her/their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. The winner agrees to the use of their name in publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK protection legislation and will not be disclosed to third parties without the entrant’s prior consent. 

Entry into the competition is deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
