By entering this competition you agree to the below terms and conditions, to be bound by the decisions of Harts Of Stur and to receive email notifications from Harts Of Stur in relation to the competition. The data necessary to send you such email notifications are being collected by Harts Of Stur and not by any social media platform.

Entering the competition

Our competitions are open only to permanent UK residents aged 18 or over.

No purchase is necessary.

Only one entry per person. Additional entries through sharing on your own or a friend’s timeline will be disregarded. Such activity is a violation of the Facebook Page Terms.

Employees or relatives of employees of Harts Of Stur are not permitted to enter.

No entries on behalf of third parties will be accepted.

Entries submitted for this competition by automated competition entry mechanisms are not eligible and will be deleted.

Choosing the winners

Harts Of Stur will pick 3 winners at random from entries on the Dorset Food and Drink website, as advertised on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The prize winner will be contacted individually. We reserve the right to announce the name or to tag the winner on social platforms, especially when the prize is a high value item. This is to prevent identity theft or fraud towards that winner or Harts Of Stur.

Harts Of Stur will initially contact the prize-winning entrant via the relevant social media or email platform within 48 hours of the competition closing to arrange delivery of the prize. If contact details supplied are invalid, another random draw will take place and another prize winner will be selected. If a prize winner does not respond within 30 days of being contacted, another random draw will take place and another prize winner will be selected. It is your responsibility to check your social media or email account to see if you have won a prize.

The prize

The prize will be as stated in the original competition post. There is no cash, voucher or credit alternative. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and subject to availability. No returns or substitutions are allowed unless the prize is faulty or damaged in transit.

Harts Of Stur reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value.

The competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Twitter and has no liability in respect of this competition.

Any information you provide when you enter or accept the competition is provided to Harts Of Stur only.

Harts Of Stur’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the draw.

No responsibility will be taken for late, lost, indecipherable or misdirected entries or for any failure of communication resulting from incorrectly supplied information.

Harts Of Stur reserves the right to check the validity of any entry and the identity of any entrant or winner and to refuse entry or refuse giving the prize if Harts Of Stur reasonably considers the entry and/or winner to be in breach of the terms and conditions or to have otherwise acted in an inappropriate or deceitful manner.

Harts Of Stur reserves the right at any time in its sole discretion to cancel, modify or supersede the competition if it believes, in its sole discretion, that the competition is not capable or is likely not to be capable of being conducted fairly or as specified within these terms and conditions due to events beyond its control (including, without limitation, a virus, a computer bug or unauthorised human intervention or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of Harts Of Stur) that could corrupt or affect the administration, security, impartiality or normal course of the competition.

Harts Of Stur shall have no liability for any delay and/or failure to perform any obligation to the winner or other entrant that is caused by: (a) technical problems of any kind which may limit or prevent any person’s participation in the competition; (b) any loss or damage arising from or in connection with the allocation of the prize; (c) any act or omission of any third party; or (d) any other events beyond Harts Of Stur’s control that may cause the competition to be disrupted or corrupted or may lead to loss of, or damage to, the prize in transit to the winner.

If any of these terms and conditions is found by a court or regulator to be invalid or unenforceable, the other provisions shall continue to apply.
