High Mead Farm Shop
Based in Ferndown, East Dorset, High Mead Farm Shop brings you a true taste of the countryside; local, sustainable, and full of integrity. Every product reflects a commitment to ethical farming, sustainability, and exceptional animal welfare.
The farm produces its own pork, lamb, fruit, vegetables, eggs, and honey, all grown and raised on-site. Meat is born, reared, butchered, and sold within Dorset, ensuring full traceability and minimal food miles. Animals are cared for with respect, and vegetables are grown naturally without chemical sprays or artificial fertilisers, delivering fresh, flavoursome food straight from the soil.
Alongside home-grown produce, the shop offers a handpicked range of Dorset-made foods and artisan products from trusted local makers who share the same values of quality and provenance.
Supporting small Dorset businesses and keeping supply chains local is central to everything they do.
High Mead Farm is also a therapeutic community farm, providing a supported day service for individuals with learning and other support needs, known as co-farmers.
These co-farmers play an active role in caring for animals, growing crops, and maintaining the farm, gaining confidence and purpose through meaningful work in nature.
While the farm itself isn’t open for public visits or animal viewing, the farm shop warmly welcomes everyone to enjoy truly local produce, grown and made with care in East Dorset.
