Dorset Food & Drink is a community and network for food and drink businesses that produce, serve and sell local products while celebrating their connection to Dorset. As a Community Interest Company limited by guarantee with an asset lock, it operates on a not-for-profit basis. Paid membership and new membership applications are currently on hold.

Originally founded by the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (now the Dorset National Landscape) in 2011, Dorset Food & Drink has been an independent Community Interest Company (CIC) since 2017 connecting over 100 local businesses who grow, make, serve, and celebrate the county’s bounty.

What We Do

We work with Dorset’s food and drink community to help businesses be seen, known and experienced by local people and visitors, showcasing the best of food and drink across the county.

Our network brings together a supportive food and drink community to connect, collaborate, celebrate and learn from one another.

We also share useful sector information and signpost local businesses towards potential grants and other sources of support.

From farm shops to food festivals, every bite tells a story of place, innovation  and creativity.

It’s not just about what’s on the plate, but where it comes from and who made it.
