Swanage Bay Fish are purveyors of Fresh Fish and Shellfish, our small family of fishmongers have been fishing in the Purbeck region for generations bringing you the very best fish and seafood that Dorset’s waters have to offer. Having been established for over ten years, we are experienced in what we do and look forward to the future as the business grows and moves with the changing tides and times.

We aim to provide the people of Swanage and beyond the freshest and highest quality products 52 weeks a year, whenever you need fresh fish for an event, special occasion or just for your dinner, we’re here to help you.

Swanage Bay Fish is run by Julia, a fully trained fishmonger and member of the National Federation of Fishmongers, amd Terry. Who fishes along the Jurassic Coast from Swanage to St Aldhem’s Head, specialising in Lobster and Crab through the summer and seasonal fish during the rest of the year. Their skills and knowledge show in their passion for the business and supplying Swanage with the very best that the coast can offer.
Everything we catch is done so using the most sustainable fishing methods, we do not endorse discarding and believe that there is a use for even the poorest of fish as long as it is fresh and healthy.

Why not try one of our bespoke seafood platters? For a special meal, centre piece or as part of a light lunch on the beach, our seafood platters are made to your taste and can be as big or small as you need. Choose from a wide range of seafood including cold water prawns, cockles, whelks, mussels, crayfish, salmon, mackerel, anchovies, crab, lobster and oysters.
