Broadcasting legend appearing at Seaside Boarding House in October

While we’ve had to postpone or cancel many of the events you’ve been looking forward to this year, there is light at the end of the tunnel as the Seaside Boarding House in Burton Bradstock announced a special event that cricket fans will love.

On Saturday, 3rd October, the team will be hosting Blowers at the Boarding House, a special evening of cocktails and chatter with cricket legend and broadcaster Henry Blofield OBE. The event will include a Q and A, fine food, drinks and maybe a slice of cake to round off the evening.

After a serious accident ended his ambitions to play cricket for England, Henry began his career as a freelance journalist, joining the team of the BBC Test Match Special before becoming a household name. He was awarded an OBE for broadcasting in 2017 and now spends his retirement working on his memoirs which will be available to buy on the night.

To book a table at the event, please call 01308 897205 or email vanessa@theseasideboardinghouse.com
