Dorset-based wine producer Morrish and Banham are celebrating being able to open their doors once more now that further lockdown restrictions have been lifted.

Speaking to Dorset Food and Drink, the team at Morrish and Banham said: “Wine sales across the UK peaked during the first few weeks of lockdown, lots of us panic buying wine as well as flour & pasta! Here at M&B, in our Brewery Square shop, the doors were closed for a while, so we set up our packing stations and readied the van to head out to our customers directly for safe doorstep delivery! It was great to still be able to meet our customers face to face for a quick catch up across the front door and to be able to continue to produce and deliver great wines.”

Now that the shop doors are open again, the team are back to chatting about all things wine in store. Alongside reopening the store, the team are continuing to deliver their wines across the county. They said: “Our deliveries have continued to be a great way of connecting with our local customers and we hope they will stay so. One staff member, Ian, loves nothing more than his regular tour of the beautiful county of Dorset dropping off packages of wine!”

The team are also continuing with their online tasting videos where they celebrate wine and gin from Dorset and across the globe.

Morrish and Banham is a wine lover’s paradise of well chosen, great value wines which are chosen with care using over thirty years of knowledge, the shop also stocks an interesting range of gins, spirits, local ales and ciders produced in the region.
