Christine’s Puddings produce delicious award-winning puddings, as well as sweet and savoury tarts in Christine’s Pudding Room, which overlooks the beautiful Blackmore Vale and the River Stour, in deepest, darkest and delicious Dorset.

Using only the finest ingredients, and where possible, locally sourced products, everything at Christine’s Puddings is handmade in small batches. Even the flour for the pastry is blended by hand, and of course, everything is gluten free!

Christine’s Puddings is the brainchild of Christine, who inherited her love of baking from her grandfather, who was a professional baker.

The range includes frangipane tarts, treacle tarts, Christmas Puddings, mini sweet tarts, savoury tarts and of course a variety of puddings including her Great Taste 2 stars sticky toffee pudding. Recently, they celebrated another award win when their Hot Irish Savoury Tart was named a Gold Winner at the 2019 Free From Food Awards.

Also among the many products available are the award winning Tarte Maison gluten-free pastry cases, so you can create your own sweet or savoury tarts at home. They all contain natural ingredients and taste great – you wouldn’t even know that they’re gluten free!

Christine grew up on a gluten-free diet after being diagnosed with Coeliac Disease. Her passion for creating delicious gluten free puddings came from constantly being told that the only gluten free pudding option was a fruit salad. Speaking on her website, Christine said: “Being diagnosed as a Coeliac or needing to be on a gluten free diet for other reasons can be quite difficult and sometimes frightening. I like to help people on this special diet, and I am a committee member of the Bournemouth and Poole Coeliac Group.” Fellow Coeliacs can rest assured that everything from Christine’s Puddings is safe to eat. Each product is hand crafted in a dedicated gluten free Pudding Room, so they are guaranteed to be totally gluten free.

As well as being passionate about producing incredible gluten free puddings, we believe in eco-friendly packaging and the products are generally packed in recyclable and compostable materials.
