The team at Capreolus are celebrating after receiving two three stars and three two stars in this year’s Great Taste Awards! Only 2% of the products entered into the competition get three stars and Capreolus is now the owners of 8 different products with 3 stars over the past three years!
This year’s winning products were:
Receiving three stars, the Dorset Soft Salami which was described as “absolutely fascinating” by judges who commended Capreolus on their seasoning and flavouring. Dorset Soft Salami also featured in the Time Top 50 most delicious food recently! Well done!
The other three star product waws the Wild Venison Chorizo which was described as being “outstanding” and “quite fabulous”.
The two star products included Truffled Salami, Pannage Ham and Venison and Green Peppercorn Salami. Not only that, but the Truffled Salami was also the winner of the Fine Food Show North’s Editor’s Choice Award. The editor was quoted as describing the salami as being a clever balance of flavours.
