As peaches are now in season, it’s the perfect time to start adding them to your recipes. For a simple and tasty dessert, give this a try, it’s sweet, syrupy and feels much more indulgent than it is!
2tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp honey
1 small pat of butter
1 tub of local yoghurt
Start by cutting the peaches into slices and then leave them to the side.
Over a medium heat, start melting the butter, sugar and honey together stirring constantly for around 2-3 minutes before adding the peaches.
Cook the peaches in the mixture for a further two minutes, making sure each slice is evenly covered.
Remove from the heat and place each slice, skin down on a baking tray and put in a preheated oven at 200 degrees, cooking for around 5 minutes.
Take out of the oven serve on top a bowl of yoghurt.
