Dorset’s food scene is about to get even more delicious as Chesil Cookery – the newly launched catering business by husband-and-wife duo Nicky and Lui Hollamby, begins operations from their purpose-built kitchen in Wyke Regis.
With a deep-rooted passion for exceptional food and years of experience in the industry, the Hollombys are introducing handcrafted luxury Dorset afternoon teas to the Weymouth area.
Their first deliveries will take place on the weekend of 29th & 30th March 2025, just in time for Mother’s Day – offering the perfect way to celebrate with indulgence. Watch this space for more updates!
Each afternoon tea is crafted using the finest local produce and features an exquisite selection of treats, including:
A choice of sandwiches with carefully selected fillings
- Portland Quail Egg Scotch Egg
- Handmade Dorset Cheddar pasty
- A tempting array of cakes and scones
- Homemade strawberry jam & Dorset clotted cream
With Lui’s background working under Raymond Blanc and in Michelin-starred restaurants, alongside the couple’s experience running a Michelin-listed 2AA rosette restaurant in the New Forest, Chesil Cookery promises restaurant-quality food with a personal touch. Their expertise has taken them from bistros to VIP private dining, even serving royalty, Heads of State, and Premier League footballers.
Looking ahead, Nicky and Lui plan to expand Chesil Cookery’s offerings with cookery lessons later in the year. These exclusive sessions will allow guests to cook alongside a professional chef, learning expert techniques to elevate their own culinary skills.
As the festive season approaches, Chesil Cookery will also offer a range of festive treats, perfect for adding a touch of gourmet indulgence to Christmas celebrations.
