Furleigh Estate Vineyard and winery can be found in Dorset’s beautiful rolling hills just 5 miles from the Jurassic Coast. Our Dorset wines are all made from Dorset grapes.

The estate covers over 85 acres of vineyard, lakes and green land surrounded by woodland, as well as being home to over 22,000 vines producing a variety of delicious wines, the area is teaming with wildlife, with deer, buzzards, pheasants, partridges and herons all roaming as they like.

We are proud that all of our wine is made here at Furleigh Estate from our own grapes. Our sparkling wines are very special and have won many gold medals and trophies since the vineyard was established in 2007. We use classic Champagne grapes, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, and the traditional, bottle-fermented, method to make our sparkling wines. The results are delightful classic-style sparkling wines full of toasty aromas and peach and lime flavours.

Although most of our wines are sparkling we do also make still white, rose and red wines. Our white wines are light and crisp and compliments fish dishes well, which is lucky considering the quality of Dorset’s fish dishes and how many of the region’s restaurants serve both incredible seafood and our wines.

Wines created at the Furleigh Estate can be found at hotels, restaurants and other accommodation providers across Dorset and over the border into Devon and Somerset. Alternatively, buy it by the bottle at shops across the UK or online from our website. We are always happy to welcome guests and tastings and sales are available from the Cellar Door at the Furleigh Estate from Tuesday to Friday. Lead by a knowledgeable guide, guests are welcome to tour the vineyard, the winery and finishing with tastings.
We offer two tours per day, 10.30am and 2.30pm from March to October; running on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
