Hebridean Sheep
The farm’s rare breed Hebridean sheep thrive on Purbeck’s more rugged and marginal land. They can often be found grazing the slopes beneath the iconic Corfe Castle, where their light, selective grazing encourages wildflowers to return and supports ongoing efforts to protect the castle’s ancient structure.

Poll Dorset Sheep
Across the farm, the Poll Dorset flock enjoys sweeping views over Swanage Bay. Known for their natural ability to lamb in autumn, these sheep spend the winter months grazing lush herbal leys—improving soil structure, boosting biodiversity, and keeping the pastures in excellent condition.
