Derwen Farm started out as two degraded maize fields, which they took control of in 2015.
Since then, Celestria and Chas have built a family run mixed farm providing high quality local produce, certified organic by the Soil Association.
All their livestock is free to range.
They have two flocks of White Leghorns and Lohmann browns, a flock of Jacob sheep, and a herd of various Berkshire and Gloucester Old Spot cross pigs.

The benefits of buying local
Local food supports local economies. Food grown in the local community supports local jobs and encourages variety in our diets, and also requires less transportation, so it’s fresher and has a smaller environmental footprint.
