The Fruit Bodhi Story
Many people ask how Fruit Bodhi started. The idea came to Tom and his team when they were thinking of a way to fulfil their love for mushrooms on a daily basis. Tom had spent many years walking in Dumfries and Galloway, observing fungi in the wild, and immersing himself in mycology books, especially those by his hero, Paul Stamets.
Fruit Bodhi was envisioned as a way to inspire new ways of seeing the hidden world of fungi and bringing that world closer to people, just like Stamets and other mycology legends did for Tom!
The team hopes to continue meeting mushroom lovers along their journey and inspire others to dive into their dreams of growing mushrooms or engaging with fungi in some way. They believe mushrooms are crucial in shaping the future of our world. If they can help kick-start your journey or answer any questions you have about mushrooms, don’t hesitate to reach out! Thanks for supporting them on their journey, and happy growing!
As a team, they specialise in growing mushrooms. Their passion led them to create a mushroom growing kit for you to try at home. They’re also quite nerdy about mycology, spending a lot of time experimenting in their mushroom laboratory. If you’re a fan of mushrooms, you’ll love their mushroom extracts.
During the week, they’re busy perfecting your kits, brewing extracts, and experimenting with new strains. At weekends, you can find them at local markets, festivals, and fairs.
