Pear Tree Produce is a small but wonderfully productive one‑acre garden nestled in the peaceful village of Nottington, just outside Weymouth. It’s here that most of the fruit and vegetables used in their delicious jams and chutneys are lovingly grown.
Throughout the warmer months, the garden overflows with vibrant, freshly picked produce, much of which is transformed straight into homemade preserves. Anything that can’t be used immediately is carefully frozen, allowing Pear Tree Produce to keep creating fresh, seasonal jams and chutneys all year round.
The garden is home to an impressive variety of fruits and vegetables, including apples, pears, plums, medlars, blackcurrants, gooseberries, raspberries, strawberries, redcurrants, blackberries, rhubarb, tomatoes, peppers, chillies, courgettes, French beans, runner beans, squash, and cauliflower.
They also grow Jostaberries – a quirky little hybrid that’s part blackcurrant, part gooseberry, and absolutely full of flavour — adding to the garden’s wonderfully diverse and colourful harvest.
With so much homegrown goodness, Pear Tree Produce captures the true taste of Dorset in every jar.
