Chococo have announced that they are supporting the Ocean Giants Programme with every sale of their new chocolate turtles.
Being based in Dorset, the coast has always been important to the team at Chococo and they are keen to help protect the oceans and make them a better place for the creatures that live there.
Writing on their blog, Chococo said: “We are very proud to announce that we are working with the Ocean Giants Programme, an international conservation charity integrating international scientific research with conservation and education, by partnering with Plymouth University to inspire and prepare the next generation of marine scientists and local conservation NGO groups.
“OGP is on a mission to inspire a new generation of Ocean Guardians and we want to help spread the word about the threats these amazing species are facing and to do our bit to help save them from extinction.
“OGP is working to protect manta rays, whale sharks, whales, dolphins and turtles, but their partners are small and need help, so to help support them, we are donating 30p from each sale of our milk and vegan friendly dark chocolate turtles as part of our 5% for the Oceans pledge. We would be thrilled if you could join us and become an ocean guardian by buying a box or two of our chocolate turtles!”
Each box of milk chocolate turtles contains 8 individually turtle shaped chocolates, hand crafted from 45% Venezuela origin milk chocolate. You can buy them and see what else Chococo is up to by heading online here.
