Langham Wine Estate are delighted to announce that three of their core range have been awarded Silver at the Decanter World Wine Awards.
Culver, Corallian and Rose were all entered and were picked as winners at a ceremony on 7th July. These wines are produced year on year and are a non vintage wine as part of Langham’s core range. A non vintage wine is simply a wine that has been made form a blend of base wines across a number of years. This helps maintain a consistency of flavour, so that you always get the taste you know and love, something that isn’t as easily done with a vintage wine.
The team are exceptionally proud of their core range, which consistently top award lists every year.
The judges had the following to say about each of this year’s entrants:
The Corallian Classic Cuvee
“Stalky, green apple aromatics. Crisp on the palate with weight and depth. Frothy mousse, lively acidity and persistent finish.”
Culver Classic Cuvee
“Green apple aromas and cinnamon sprinkled red apple flavours. Complex palate with piercing acidity. Very dry finish.”
Rose
“Delicate red fruits on the nose with a touch of cream. Compact palate with a gentle texture, good acids and toasty complexity.”
