Langham Wine Estate, a renowned winery nestled in the heart of Dorset, has much to celebrate after a spectacular performance at the WineGB Awards 2024.
The estate clinched four prestigious trophies, with standout wins for their Corallian Classic Cuvée NV and Pinot Noir 2019. These victories include the titles of ‘Best NV/MV Classic Cuvée’, ‘Best Blanc de Noirs’, the ‘Wessex Trophy’, and the coveted ‘Best Estate Winery’ award.
The WineGB Awards are a national platform that showcases the best of Great Britain’s wines and producers. This year’s distinguished judging panel was led by industry luminaries Susie Barrie MW, Oz Clarke OBE, and Peter Richards MW. They were joined by other experts, including Rebecca Palmer, Matthew Horsley, Giles James, Dan Farrell-Wright, Matthew Hodgson, and Rebecca Mitchell, all of whom bring significant expertise and passion to the field. The winners, including the Supreme Champion, were announced during a celebratory lunch on July 19th.
In addition to these accolades, Langham Wine Estate also secured five gold medals for its Corallian Classic Cuvée NV, Culver Classic Cuvée NV, Rosé NV, Blanc de Blancs NV, and Pinot Noir 2019. The estate’s limited edition still Chardonnay, “Search for Enlightenment 2022,” was honoured with a silver medal.
Tommy Grimshaw, the Head Winemaker at Langham Wine Estate, expressed his pride and gratitude: “Receiving four incredible accolades at the WineGB Awards 2024 is a tremendous honour. This recognition is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our entire team, both past and present.”

This recent success builds on Langham Wine Estate’s growing reputation, having previously been named Best Sparkling Wine Producer at the International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC) in 2020.
