Introducing Taste the Story: Celebrating Dorset’s Producers, Makers & Coastal Heritage

Over the past year, Dorset Food & Drink has been working closely with an incredible group of local producers, growers, makers, fishers, bakers, winemakers, and food businesses to create a brand‑new series of short films called ‘Taste the Story’.

These films open the door to the real Dorset- shaped by family businesses, generations of craftsmanship, sustainable farming, coastal traditions, and a deep love for local food. Each story shines a light on the people behind the products you enjoy: their skills, their passion, their challenges, and the landscapes that inspire them.

Dorset is full of extraordinary food and drink stories. From artisan cheesemakers and organic vineyards to traditional bakers, coastal fishers, regenerative growers, and vibrant events that bring communities together, and every producer has a tale worth telling.
