The Watch House Café is one of Britain’s best seaside eateries

The Watch House Café in West Bay has been ranked in the Top 20 Best Seaside Restaurants, Cafés and Shacks in the UK by the Guardian. The café was also recognised for its commitment to sustainability and for creating menus using ethically sourced goods.

According to the Guardian, the Watch House Café is the place to be on a Sunday for brunch or full English breakfasts and praised it for its pizza, fish and chips and crab sandwiches. To visitors, the café is instantly recognisable for its famous location and is well known in the area for being the only café on West Bay Beach, which featured in ITV’s Broadchurch.

The Watch House is one of a family of beachside cafés, with sister sites in West Bexington and Burton Bradstock.
