The village is beneath the local landmark of Colmers Hill and is a real hidden gem of cottages and a local pub. The Symondsbury Estate is just a few miles from the Jurassic Coast with unspoilt beaches and fabulous coastal works and includes 1500 acres consisting of farmland, ancient woodland and more. It. Has been owned by the Colfox family for over 100 years.

The Symondsbury Store is a cross between a farm shop and a convenience store. Selling local produce and daily essentials including organically-grown vegetables from their own garden, there is a wide range of local food and drink, including the award-winning preserves that are created onsite. The shop is a stockist for a number of local producers and suppliers offering everything from baked goods to ready meals.

It isn’t just food and drink that are available either, a range of local products and gift cards for experiences are also on sale.

The Symondsbury Kitchen is the perfect place to chill out after a walk or bike ride! Open for breakfast, lunch and teas, the kitchen offers a selection of seasonal, locally sourced, home cooked food. You can feast on delicious homemade cakes, coffee, hot chocolate, tea and cold drinks and a range of daily specials.
