Langham and Chococo: A Decadent Mother’s Day 2025 Collaboration

Mothers deserve to be celebrated with something truly special, and Langham Wine Estate has just the treat. This Mother’s Day, Langham is unveiling an exciting new collaboration with one of Dorset’s renowned chocolatiers, Chococo. Together, they have created Rosé and Raspberry chocolates—an indulgent fusion of Langham Rosé infused white chocolate, real raspberry, and Chococo’s award-winning 72% Ecuador origin dark chocolate. These chocolates are as rich and vibrant as the exquisite wine that inspires them, making them the perfect gift for a well-deserving mum.

A Bold, Award-Winning Rosé

Langham Wine Estate is known for crafting characterful sparkling wines, and its Rosé is no exception. Made using the ‘assemblage’ method, a small portion of red wine is blended with a still base white wine to achieve complexity, rich texture, and a unique savoury quality. Wine critic Jamie Goode describes it in his UK Sparkling Wine Guide 2025 as:

“Powerful, fresh and detailed with nice fine spicy notes, and a touch of toastiness. Very gastronomic with spice, cherries and good acidity as well as a touch of mandarin.”

This distinctive blend consists of 59% Pinot Noir (7% of which is made into red wine for blending), 36% Chardonnay, and 5% Pinot Meunier, all estate-grown. Its versatility with food makes it an excellent pairing for spice, shellfish, and even rare roast beef. A true standout, Langham Rosé earned a gold medal at the 2024 WineGB Awards and was named Wine of the Year 2023 by Masters of Wine Susie Barrie and Peter Richards.

Sustainable & Thoughtful Gifts

In addition to the Rosé and Raspberry chocolates, Langham is offering sustainable, upcycled bottle candles crafted by Adhock Homeware in Plymouth. Each candle is handmade with natural soy wax and comes in three delightful scents:

  • Rosé Candle – Rhubarb & Rose
  • Corallian Candle – Mandarin, Lime & Basil
  • Culver Candle – Honeysuckle & Elderflower

These candles make thoughtful gifts that capture the essence of Langham’s most beloved wines.

About Langham Wine Estate

Nestled in rural Dorset, Langham Wine Estate is dedicated to producing low-intervention, traditional method sparkling wines from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier grapes. Their 34-hectare vineyard, situated on the same porous chalk as Champagne’s Côte des Blancs, provides the perfect terroir for crafting world-class wines.

Langham follows a hands-off, oxidative approach to winemaking, drawing inspiration from the ‘Grower Champagne’ movement. This philosophy results in textured, layered wines that reflect the unique characteristics of each growing season. Their core range includes Classic Cuvées—Culver and Corallian—as well as Rosé, Blanc de Blancs, and the 100% Pinot Noir Blanc de Noirs.

Recent Accolades

Langham Wine Estate continues to garner praise and prestigious awards:

  • The Real Review Winery of the Year Great Britain 2024
  • WineGB Awards 2024 – Multiple gold medals, including ‘Best NV/MV Classic Cuvée’ for Corallian Classic Cuvée NV and ‘Best Blanc de Noirs’ for Pinot Noir 2019.
  • WineGB Wessex Awards 2024 – ‘The PIG Wessex Wine of the Year’ Trophy for Pinot Noir 2019.
  • Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA) 2024 – Silver and bronze medals for several wines.
  • Sommelier Wine Awards (SWA) 2024 – Two Golds and two Silvers for Langham’s standout sparkling wines.

This Mother’s Day, celebrate with a luxurious treat from Langham Wine Estate—whether it’s a decadent chocolate pairing, a beautifully scented candle, or an immersive vineyard experience, it’s a heartfelt way to show appreciation for the incredible mothers in our lives.
