Today, Langham Wine Estate is producing world class sparkling wine, in a low intervention method. All our base wines go through spontaneous, wild fermentation rather than using commercial yeasts, and we try to add as little as possible to the wine in the process. Our young, vibrant team are keen to experiment and push the boundaries in this exciting time for the UK wine industry.
As well as running their eponymous restaurant, Hall’s Kitchen, in Weymouth, Jason and Daisy Hall have joined Langham to run the Vineyard Café at their Wine Estate. Jason’s career began on the QE2, leading to positions as a private chef in luxury properties in the Alps, touring with bands and on the Formula 1 circuit, before returning home to Weymouth. His cooking focuses on the best local produce from land and sea.
Jason’s daughter Daisy started her career in hospitality working across Australia and New Zealand, and brings passion, experience, and an eye for detail to managing both Hall’s and the Langham Wine Estate Vineyard Café. With hospitality credentials like that, you’re guaranteed to have a great dining experience!
Our vineyard, tasting room, and café are open throughout the year for wine sales, food, tastings, tours, and events.
The Vineyard Café is open Wednesday to Sunday, from 10am to 4:30pm, for coffee and cake, brunch, lunch and afternoon tea, as well as for events throughout the year.
