Morrish and Banham are a retail and online wine merchant based in Dorchester’s vibrant Brewery Square, with an extensive selection of great value and characterful wines from across the world, a wine lover’s paradise!

All of our wines are chosen using 30 years of knowledge and a deep passion for wine. We also stock an interesting range of gins, spirits, local ales and ciders and our bar is always stocked with a great variety of spirits for you to pop in and taste.

We offer wines by the glass and bottle to enjoy in our shop’s relaxed tasting room at any time or join us for on one of our in-store tutored wine or gin tastings complemented by Dorset tapas for groups of family, friends or colleagues. We have an extensive calendar of events throughout the year, including our monthly team up with some of the best producers to present Wine Tastings at The Seaside Boarding House in Burton Bradstock and monthly wine tasting dinners at YC’s Cafe in Dorchester. We host regular wine and food matching events in store with the best local food producers and offer WSET, industry recognised wine education, at the Morrish & Banham Wine School.

Morrish & Banham is run by the husband and wife team, Mark & Caroline, together with Ian Drake, an all-round Mr Nice Guy! Mark is known in the wine trade for his excellent palate and his ability to assess and value wines as well as for his approachable, friendly style and his ability to help customers choose the right wine for the right occasion.
We offer great value wines to the pub and restaurant trade with expert advice for wine lists and party and wedding wines are always available.
