Morrish and Banham are excited to stock the latest Bride Valley Vineyard releases. Jack Priestley, from Morrish and Banham, reviewed the new products and describes them in three words:
‘Intensity, purity and freshness.’
According to Jack, “They reflect the cool-climate of the south coast with beautiful freshness and lifted aromatics.”
He said: “England is one of the most exciting wine countries at the moment and of the wines I have tasted recently, the wines of Dorset are amongst the best. It’s certainly sparkling wine that puts England on the wine map. The traditional method sparkling wines produced here today are world-class and compete with top Champagne.
“Still wines, however, fly a little under the radar, but as my visit to Bride Valley Vineyards has shown, there are some outstanding and hugely enjoyable still wines to be found.
“The Bride Valley Dorset Chardonnay is a terrific cool-climate Chardonnay, beautifully fresh and aromatic with classic green apple and pear notes. It’s very pure and well balanced with a great depth of flavour and a lovely crisp and refreshing finish. The perfect aperitif or partner to locally caught seafood!
“We are proud to support three excellent wine producers here in Dorset; Bride Valley Vineyards, Furleigh Estate and Langham Estate.”
