Meet Ian – the creative force behind Baker in a Beanie.
Baking has been Ian’s sidekick for almost two decades, ever since he moved to Somerset and found himself missing the simple joy of fresh bread.
What started with a bread machine soon became a hands-on journey through every style imaginable: rustic sourdough, Tibetan steamed bread, naan, Irish soda bread, Scottish griddle pancakes, pumpernickel, and more.
If it’s bread, Ian’s probably baked it, and loved every minute.
Turns out, bread runs in the family. A little genealogical digging revealed that Ian’s great-great-grandfather was a baker in rural Wales. Coincidence or destiny? Either way, the legacy lives on in every loaf.

Why Baker in a Beanie?
Organic breads crafted with ancient grains. Naturally low in gluten, easy to digest, and vegan-friendly.
Always GM and pesticide-free. Substantial, nourishing, and seriously delicious.
Think you can’t eat bread? Give ancient grains a go.
Many discover it’s not them, it’s the modern wheat and mass-market loaves that are the problem.
